No accounts, no cookies
The site has no sign-up, no forms that collect personal details, and it doesn’t set any cookies. The search box runs in your browser: what you type is never sent to us. The example files (spreadsheets and CSVs) are plain downloads; nothing is recorded about who downloads them beyond the anonymous page analytics below.
Anonymous analytics
We count page views with our own first-party analytics. We store the page, the referring site, any campaign tags in the link, a rough device type, the country reported by our hosting provider and a random ID that only lasts while the tab’s open. When you follow a link to another site we record which site. We never store your IP address or your browser’s user agent. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, nothing’s recorded. You can also switch analytics off for this browser with the button below.
Links to other sites
Links to other sites carry a ref=usingaias tag so the site you visit can see where you came from. Some of the linked sites are our own products. Their own privacy policies apply once you’re there.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving a free site. You can ask about, or object to, any processing described here by emailing us, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
